Tournaments are over for the year, so now is the time we can relax and have a good time just catching fish. At the same time we will be working with different baits and see how redfish react to them. So if you have anything new or different, let us know we will be glade to try it out.

I have attached a picture of the fish that put us into 2nd place during the Championship, if we could only have caught two like this the last day. Oh well maybe next year.

Hybrid Flurry Minnow Fishing Tips

The Hybrid Flurry Minnow is one of the most versatile tools we have in our box. Competing on the FLW Redfish Series and IFA Redfish Tour we have to adjust to what Mother Nature deals us. With a wide array of Hybrid Flurry Minnow color selections, there is always a color to match the water conditions and the forage.

In muddy water conditions we have found that the spoiled rotten or purple/chartreuse color Hybrid Flurry Minnow in conjunction with a gold spinner blade/jig head combination can make all the difference needed to bring two slot reds to the scale.

At other times, in clearer water conditions, a seafood or gold chovey color Hybrid Flurry Minnow on a 1/4oz. jig head fished slowly bumping the bottom will quickly bring reds to the boat. Hint: We always smear a little extra Hot Sauce on our baits to catch the finicky ones.
